Zoom Coffees
Once a month, ALCAT organises an online café meeting with its members. The meeting alternates monthly between mornings and afternoons, to accommodate to everyone’s particular time zone.
These online coffees serve as a point for new members to know other members, or to meet people posted in the same area without the need for the MFA’s agent to introduce them.
If you have any concerns about the country where your spouse is posted, or would like tips and suggestions getting around, this is the perfect event for you!
Workshops and Skill Building
Depending on the demand, we may organise workshops and classes that help members develop new skills or pursue their interests.
These may include art classes, language sessions, cooking workshops, and more.
You can also look for a partner to join you in other workshops not necessarily given by us. The point is to have a fulcrum to link between people and their personal interest.
Other Events
Networking: We host networking events or provide resources for job hunting and entrepreneurship.
Touring: Outings and excursions to explore the host country’s attractions. These can include visits to tourist sites, guided tours, hiking trips, local museums, and cultural performances.
Educational Programmes: Join discussions about school recommendations, cultural events for your family, and more.
